At the Innovative Vehicle Institute, each project is carried out with professionalism by an experienced and passionate team. We have the skills and infrastructure required to offer you the best in terms of innovation. With solid expertise in electric, autonomous, and connected vehicles, the IVI is a centre collégial de transfert technologique (CCTT) affiliated with the Cégep of Saint-Jérôme. We also hold a research centre accreditation from NSERC.

Our main areas of expertise are :

Electric vehicle

Battery design, electrification of heavy-duty vehicles, electronics, and control software, charging infrastructure

Autonomous vehicle

Development of navigation systems, artificial intelligence, environmental perception, vehicle robotization, drive-by-wire, functional safety ISO26262 standard.

Connected vehicle

CANBus, inter-vehicle communication (IoT, DSRC), V2X (vehicle to everything), charging fleet power management
